I saw this yesterday when a classmate posted it on Facebook. Since I'm a stats geek, I noticed the video had a little over 11,000 hits. I showed it to my husband an hour ago and it had almost 200,000 hits - I just peeked again and it's got 466,000 hits. (My husband just got a quick primer on viral video from me - and got to see first hand how excellence spreads at lightning speeds.)
This video is one of the two types of viral video to make it to the super stratus of web virology. The other type, being people behaving very badly. The best thing about this video is the joy shared by the two people getting married and the enjoyment the rest of the world is getting from it. In the 20 minutes since I posted this on my Facebook page, 3 more people posted it. Virology at its best!
I don't have a huge learning from this post. I just really love that this couple made such a creative use of their one wedding day and it has been shared world-wide. I'm sure we'll be seeing this on the 'creative/wild/amazing' wedding compilation television programs. I wish this young couple a life filled with the happiness, joy and creativity - they started their lives together with quite the bang!
